About the Role

  • A manageable and varied caseload
  • Mobile-based therapy delivered to children within homes, preschools, schools and community settings
  • Collaborative consultation with families to deliver goal-directed therapy to empower independence
  • Working with children and young people with varying conditions and disabilities such as ASD, attentional difficulties, Sensory Processing Disorder, developmental delays, motor disorders and mental health issues as well as collaboration with other therapists working with the child and family
  • Provide a play-based, fun approach to therapy to facilitate function and improve capacity
  • Practical and sustainable billable targets
  • Ability to conduct a wide range of Occupational Therapy assessments
  • Prepare and complete reports and documentation as required

Role Requirements

  • Tertiary level qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Current Working with Children Check, NSW Police Check and first aid certification
  • Experience in delivering assessment and intervention within a paediatric/young person role is desirable though not essential
  • Although we predominantly work with children, experience working with adults is also an advantage
  • Friendly, positive attitude and an ethical approach to working with families and varied cultures
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a growing team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Current Drivers Licence and own vehicle
